Cardtronics Announces ATM Branding Agreement With HSBC Bank USA

HSBC Bank USA Expands ATM Network Within Walgreens Stores


HOUSTON, Nov. 16, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Cardtronics Inc. and HSBC Bank USA, N.A., finalized their second deal that enabled HSBC to brand up to 33 ATMs in Walgreens locations in Connecticut. Installations were completed in August of this year. In addition, all HSBC-branded ATMs in Walgreens stores will be surcharge-free to the bank's customers -- just like its on-premise ATMs.

HSBC Bank USA is the U.S. banking unit of one of the world's largest financial services companies. The bank has nearly 400 branches in New York State and began its New Jersey expansion in June 2005. HSBC also has branches in Florida, California, Pennsylvania, Washington, D.C, Delaware, Oregon and Washington state.
