Artificial Life, Inc. Receives New Funding


HONG KONG, Nov. 16, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Artificial Life, Inc. (OTCBB:ALIF) announced today that it has received over US$2,000,000 through a private placement of equity securities to finance its further global expansion.

The Company sold an aggregate of 2,560,000 shares of its common stock plus warrants to purchase an additional 1,290,000 shares of its common stock for a total purchase price of $2,048,000. The warrants are exercisable immediately and will remain exercisable for a period of two years at an exercise price of $1.20 per share.

The proceeds from this funding round will mainly be used to kick start and finance our global expansion beyond the Asian markets into Europe and the USA," said Eberhard Schoeneburg, President and Chief Executive Officer of Artificial Life.
