Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas Announces Board of Director Election Results




               Charles Morgan to Represent Arkansas
             Anthony Sciortino to Represent Louisiana
        Tyson Abston and Gary Blankenship to Represent Texas

DALLAS, Nov. 20, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- The Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas ("Bank") today announced the election of Tyson Abston, Gary Blankenship, Charles Morgan and Anthony Sciortino as directors of the Bank. Charles Morgan and Anthony Sciortino currently serve on the Bank's Board and were re-elected. All four directors will serve three-year terms commencing January 1, 2007.

Mr. Morgan serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Pine Bluff National Bank in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Mr. Sciortino serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of State-Investors Bank in Metairie, Louisiana. Mr. Abston serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Guaranty Bond Bank in Mount Pleasant, Texas. Mr. Blankenship serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Bank of the West in Irving, Texas.
