Xlibris Releases Bird Boy -- New Children's Picture Book Tells the Story About Learning to Like Yourself

TEMECULA, Calif., Nov. 21, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- A touching story about acceptance and compassion is set to begin as Xlibris announces the release of Bird Boy, the beautiful new picture book featuring the imagination of author P.J. Young and the artwork of Michele Klee Greulich.

Bird Boy tells the story of a young boy and a bird learning to be happy with themselves. It begins when the boy dreams of escaping his world and flying away. Along the way, he befriends a bird which inspires him to become a bird himself and enter a new life. Together during this process, they both discover what acceptance, appreciation and self value truly mean.

Highly recommended for children, their parents, their teachers and even art fans, Bird Boy emphasizes the lesson of learning to like yourself and accepting each other's differences. Its simplicity about universal messages makes it an educational and entertaining reference for both children and adults.
