Sense Technologies, Inc. Files International Patents Worldwide

GRAND ISLAND, Neb., Nov. 28, 2006 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Sense Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB:SNSG) a major player in the development and marketing of vehicle backing awareness safety systems, announced that it has filed an international patent application under the Patent Cooperation Treaty for their ScopeOut(r) safety mirror system in the countries of Japan, Canada, Australia and Mexico, as well as several European countries under the European Patent Convention.

Bruce Schreiner, President of Sense Technologies stated, "This filing process is a natural extension to the favorable results we have already enjoyed in the United States Patent Offices via our recent patent issuance and the allowance of a significant number of claims based on those originally requested for our ScopeOut(r) products. Plus, we have the expectation of similar additional US patent allowances. With the recently completed agreement with AmerTrade InterNational Group for the Republic of Mexico, this intellectual-property protection is 'hand-in-glove' with respect to our expectations of international sales successes for ScopeOut(r) products."

"This procedure duplicates the Guardian Alert(r) international intellectual property protection for our ScopeOut(r) products, which we feel is so vitally important should legislation occur which directs the use of automotive backover countermeasures. Our Guardian Alert(r) is an 'active' awareness system, and ScopeOut(r) is a 'passive' awareness system, both of which have significant contribution potential to help solve the vehicle reversing-accident problem of blind zones," Schreiner added.
