Pacific Sunwear Announces November Sales


ANAHEIM, Calif., Nov. 30, 2006 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Pacific Sunwear of California, Inc. (Nasdaq:PSUN) today reported that total sales for the four weeks of fiscal November ending November 25, 2006 were $110.9 million, an increase of 3.4 percent over total sales of $107.3 million during the same period last year. Total Company same-store sales decreased 3.8 percent during the same period. By concept, PacSun same-store sales decreased 2.6 percent and demo same-store sales decreased 10.0 percent compared to the same four week period last year.

Total sales for the first 43 weeks of fiscal 2006 were $1,099.9 million, an increase of 2.4 percent over total sales of $1,073.8 million during the same period last year. Total Company same-store sales decreased 4.8 percent during the same period. By concept, PacSun same-store sales decreased 4.4 percent and demo same-store sales decreased 7.3 percent compared to the same 43 week period last year.
