Aquila Assisting St. Louis Utility in Storm Cleanup and Power Restoration


RAYTOWN, Mo., Dec. 1, 2006 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Aquila (NYSE:ILA) today released approximately 85 linemen, tree trimmers and supervisors to assist St. Louis electrical provider Ameren in repairing damage caused by the winter storm that struck the St. Louis area overnight, causing large-scale outages. The crews released by Aquila are traveling to St. Louis today and tomorrow.
