HAMILTON, Bermuda, Dec. 4, 2006 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Seadrill has been awarded a letter of intent by ExxonMobil Exploration and Production Malaysia Inc. for the jack-up drilling rig West Prospero (Seadrill 4), currently under construction in Singapore. The intended contract has a duration of 400 days, with estimated value of approximately US$82 million. Start-up of operations is planed in the third quarter 2007, following delivery.
