CommunitySouth Bancshares, Inc. Announces Five-for-Four Stock Split


EASLEY, S.C., Dec. 5, 2006 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- CommunitySouth Bancshares, Inc. (OTCBB:CBSO), parent company of CommunitySouth Bank & Trust, announced today that its Board of Directors has approved a five-for-four stock split to be effected as a stock dividend for shareholders of record on December 15, 2006 to be paid on January 16, 2007. In lieu of issuing fractional shares, CommunitySouth will pay cash based upon the closing price of common stock as of January 16, 2007.
