DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla., Dec. 14, 2006 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- In a move to accelerate Red Reef Labs' ability to offer a sophisticated testing facility in South Florida, Certified Environmental Services, Inc. and Red Reef Labs have agreed to cooperatively open a series of satellite environmental test laboratories.
This should be the beginning of a long term synergistic relationship with the Syracuse-based Certified Environmental Services, Inc. Certified Environmental Services, Inc. is a full service environmental laboratory and consulting firm primarily servicing New York State. Certified Environmental Services, Inc. has been in the environmental testing and consulting business for over 15 years, with key individual management personnel completing such related services for well over 25 years. The move is intended to generate new revenue streams for both companies.
The joint venture with Certified Environmental Services, Inc. will be an important adjunct and key factor in Red Reef Labs' plans to create a full service remediation organization which will provide a broad range of services including soil reclamation, water purification, bio hazard and trauma site remediation, mold remediation, asbestos removal and encapsulation, lead removal and brownfield redevelopment etc., utilizing state-of-the art protocols and Red Reef Labs' proprietary advanced surface decontamination products. These products have been proven effective against a broad variety of organisms, including Avian influenza A Viruses, Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli (E-Coli), and many others, and have applications in a variety of markets including farms and poultry farms, the hospitality industry, including cruise ship remediation and maintenance, hospital cross contamination, veterinary offices and hospitals, etc.
Recently Red Reef Labs acquired assets in Napoleonville, LA., for the express purpose of launching its remediation effort in an area of the country best suited to showcase Red Reef Labs' proprietary decontamination technology. With the reported strategic joint venture in place, Certified Environmental Services, Inc. and Red Reef Labs have the opportunity of opening their first satellite lab in South Florida near Red Reef Labs' Headquarters, enabling management to gain operational insights and experience prior to expanding to Louisiana and other States.
A tentative timetable has been established to coordinate the laboratory set-up with the introduction of Red Reef Labs' BioClear product family for surface decontamination scheduled for early spring of 2007. This timetable also corresponds with Red Reef Labs' contract with Benchmark China Ltd., wherein Benchmark has purchased the rights to distribute signature BioClear products approved for use in sanitizing poultry farms as a deterrent against Avian Influenza. The Louisiana-based lab will follow shortly thereafter.
