Christianity: The Great Deception

PHILADELPHIA, Dec. 14, 2006 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Even to this day, Christianity continues to be presented to Afrikans and Afrikan-Americans in a way that contradicts their natural belief system. With the release of her daring and controversial new book Healing the Spirit, author Khummit Hatshepsitu talks about the religious lies being fed to vulnerable Afrikans and other ethnic communities.

Hatshepsitu points out that historical data shows: there is an absence of black characters that have played roles in the foundation of Christianity; that Christianity began in the Nile Valley; and the first Christian church (which was hewed out of stone) was built in Ethiopia. The first Christians to die for Christ were three black women -- Perpetua, Felicita, and Numindia. And the most astounding claim by Hatshepsitu is that Jesus was black. Presenting new materials gathered from an extensive research, Hatshepsitu's new book is bound to rock more than a few boats and even spark a new wave of historical and religious debates. The author stands by her claims.

Healing the Spirit is aimed above all to stop the endless manipulations that have been perpetuated for generations. The revelation of the identity of Christ, the black martyrs, and the other contributions of the black people to the development of Christianity is merely one of the many new materials that Hatshepsitu presents in her new book.
