ECM, BPM, and EII Solution Provider Alero Technology Achieves 100 Percent of South Korea's Telecom Market Share

SAN DIEGO, Dec. 14, 2006 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Platform-independent, enterprise information management provider Alero Technology announces it has achieved 100% of South Korea's telecom market share with enterprise content management (ECM) and business process management (BPM) software contracts from wireless telecommunications companies, KT Freetel and SK Telecom. Alero Technology's transaction-oriented SOA solution is currently used by wireless LG Telecom and KT Corp, the sole provider of telecom lines in South Korea, to manage their new subscriber process -- approximately 30,000 new line activations a month and maintenance of a system of more than 485 million subscribers.

"South Korea is a worldwide leader in telecommunications, wireless and broadband technologies with one of the most aggressive long-term plans in the world. We depend on Alero Technology software to facilitate our subscriber process because it can handle the transaction workload, with room for more," Minky Park CTO of SpenoCom, a leading provider of Telecommunication solutions for South Korea and the Asian market, says. "With more than 485 million land subscribers and 40 million wireless users, it must."

"We have yet to exceed a transaction load that our java-based middleware can't handle," Maurice Correa president and co-founder of Alero Technology says. "Alero can easily facilitate millions of mission-critical, enterprise business transactions daily, which makes us ideal for telecoms, utility companies and banks."

Based on a comprehensive J2EE, XML, Unicode and an SOA foundation, Alero Technology gives customers and IT partners enterprise content management (ECM), business process management (BPM), enterprise content integration (ECI), and enterprise information integration (EII) capabilities in a single solution with a consistent, service-oriented architecture (SOA). Alero Software's entry level starts at just $300 per user, and delivers full support for any type of production-oriented environment at no extra cost, including Windows NT/2000/2003; IBM AIX; Linux; HP-UX and Sun Solaris. The new version also supports all major databases -- Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase, IBM DB2 and IBM Informix.

"With our ability to easily orchestrate disparate applications, regardless of platform, into one single virtual repository, Alero Technology reduces the development, deployment, and maintenance of any customized and off-the-shelf solutions," Correa says.
