Global Communications Giant, Huawei Technologies, Chooses Effective for Equipment Procurement and Integration Management


MANILA, Philippines, Dec. 18, 2006 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- SES (Pink Sheets:SFWJ) CEO, Clarisa Rojo, today announced that Huawei Technologies, global provider of communications equipment, has purchased SES's CRM suite to enhance management of their equipment procurement and integration operations in the Philippines.

Huawei Technologies (www.huawei.com) has signed an agreement to purchase SES's Equipment Management tool to enhance control of the purchases of equipment components from outside manufacturers and their integration into Huawei's own products. Huawei's products and solutions include wireless products, core network products, network products, application and software, as well as terminals, and are sold to communications companies in over 100 countries worldwide.

"Huawei designs and develops ASIC chips, with most of its products based on shared platforms, including fixed network, mobile network, data communications, optical network, software & services and terminals. The company's equipment purchase and integration operations faced a serious challenge by the complexity and scope of control needed to maintain a tight reign on costs and quality.
