SAMPO LIFE TO COMBINE ITS SUBSIDIARIES OPERATING IN THE BALTIC COUNTRIES UNDER
ONE COMPANY
Sampo Life Insurance Company Limited, a subsidiary of Sampo plc, has finalised
the project to combine its subsidiaries operating in the Baltic countries under
one company on 2 January 2007. Sampo Life has received all approvals by the
authorities for the registration of the new company, SE Sampo Life Insurance
Baltic.
The company will operate in all Baltic countries having its domicile in Estonia
and branches in Latvia and Lithuania.
The legal rearrangement will have no effect on valid insurance contracts and will
require no action by customers.
