Fischer Partners Fondkommssion, subsidiary of Glitnir Bank, will become Glitnir as of 2 January and is adopting the Glitnir's logo and branding. The Bank's strategy is to align all subsidiaries and offices in the markets where it operates within one strong brand. Glitnir's new member ID on various stock exchanges where Glitnir, previously Fischer Partners, is a member will be GLI as of 5 January. Glitnir Bank's ticker on the Icelandic Stock Exchange will continue to be GLB. Swedish Companies Registration Office (Bolagsverket) approval to change the legal name of Fischer Partners Fondkommission AB to Glitnir AB in Sweden is pending. Glitnir's operations in Sweden are part of Glitnir Markets which is led by Frank O. Reite, ExecutiveVice Presisdent.
