Munters: Munters divests the DEC business

Munters divests the DEC business Munters has agreed to divest the DEC business (Diesel Emission Control) to Per Holmström, currently working within the business. Munters and Per Holmström, currently Business Area Manager for Diesel Emission Control (DEC), have agreed that Per Holmström will take over all of Munters operations in the DEC business. The DEC business, which is part of Munters' HumiCool Division, sells Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) systems for marine diesel engines. The business had sales amounting to 20 SEK million in 2005. The business is based in Gothenburg and will continue its operations in the existing premises. "This is a logical step for Munters since the DEC business has limited synergies with our core business. This structural change enables us to focus on our selected target areas", says Per Segerström, President, Division HumiCool. The transfer of the business is deemed to be insignificant to Munters earnings and sales.
