Ventspils nafta 08.01.2007 Ventspils nafta operations SIA Ventspils nafta termināls, 100%-owned by the joint stock company Ventspils nafta, has been handling their first deliveries of gas oil received by product pipeline. About 50,000 tonnes of gas oil was loaded into a first tanker on January 6, 2007. Meanwhile, a second tanker is being also loaded. She will be presumably taking over 55, 000 tonnes of gas oil delivered to the terminal by pipeline. One of tankers is m/v Puze, a newly built tanker vessel of AS Latvijas kuģniecība, which has been chartered by a cargo owner in accordance with their needs. SIA Ventspils nafta termināls is a subsidiary of AS Ventspils nafta Group and provides transit services in the area of crude oil and petroleum products storage and throughput, receiving their deliveries by pipeline (crude oil, gas oil), by railway and by sea (crude oil, gas oil, gasoline and other petroleum products). SIA Ventspils nafta termināls is the biggest company of this kind in the region, which crude oil and petroleum products tank farm includes storage capacities of up to 1.2 m cubic meters.
