PORT OF TALLINN ANNOUNCED MUUGA HARBOUR EASTERN PART CONSTRUCTON PROCUREMENT

On December 26, 2006  Port  of  Tallinn  announced  state  procurement  for  Muuga
Harbour eastern part extension. Extension area is located on  the  east  coast  of
Muuga Bay between the existing coal and container terminals.

The procurement includes marine dredging  work  up  to  -16.00  meters,  with  the
capacity of ca 6.7 million m³ and  formation  of  a  ca  66-hectare  area  through
drawing of filling sand from seabed together with removal in  the  volume  of  2.9
million m³. A total of 1 200 m berths with  necessary  berth  equipment  shall  be
constructed.

Muuga Harbour  eastern  part  extension  design  shall  be  co-financed  from  the
European Union Cohesion  Fund.  On  December  26,  European  Commission  made  the
financing decision of the 1st stage  of  Muuga  Harbour  extension,  according  to
which European Commission will finance Muuga Harbour  extension  with  23  million
euros (360 million EEK). The given amount will comprise 32.3% of planned  eligible
expenses and ca 20% of the total expenses  of  the  1st  stage  of  Muuga  Harbour
extension.

State procurement tenders shall be submitted on February 27, 2007.
