Cargotec Receives RTG Order from Brazil

Kalmar, the business area providing container handling solutions within Cargotec,
has received an order for 12 E-One RTGs (rubber-tyred gantry cranes) from Santos
Brasil S/A, the largest terminal operator in South America. The E-one RTGs will
be delivered to the Santos Brasil S/A terminal at the Port of Santos between
September 2007 and January 2008.

The Santos Brasil S/A terminal handles approximately 20 percent of all container
throughput in Brazil. In 2005, the terminal handled more than one million TEU
(TEU is a 20 ft container).

Kalmar and Santos Brasil S/A have been working together for years. Kalmar
previously delivered 11 reachstackers to the company and has continually
supported Santos Brasil S/A with spare parts and services. Now ordered RTGs will
be equipped with Kalmar Smartrail® - an automatic steering and container position
verification system

Unit prices for RTGs vary between EUR 1-1.5 million.
