Today, all participants with a pledged cash account have the possibility to post either cash or guarantees when fulfilling their daily margin requirements (except for cash margin). Lysaker, 8 January 2007 Posted in a combination, Nord Pool Clearing (NPC) has until today always used the guarantee first. From the 15 of January, all pledged cash account holders have the possibility to use the “cash before guarantee” functionality where NPC prioritises posted cash before any guarantees.
