no 04/07 Nord Pool Clearing implements a "cash before guarantee" functionality


Today, all participants with a pledged cash account have the possibility to post either cash or guarantees when fulfilling their daily margin requirements (except for cash margin).

Posted in a combination, Nord Pool Clearing (NPC) has until today always used the guarantee first. From the 15 of January, all pledged cash account holders have the possibility to use the “cash before guarantee” functionality where NPC prioritises posted cash before any guarantees.

For all pledged cash account holders interested in using the new functionality, please contact NPC in writing (fax or letter). Please note from what date the routine should be changed and for which account.
