Microsemi Expands Corporate Finance Management Team

Promotes John Hohener to Vice President of Finance and Treasurer

Effective immediately, Mr. Hohener will be responsible for all corporate financial reporting, accounting, internal audit, treasury functions, information systems and risk management. He will be located at Microsemi Corporate Operations in Irvine, California, reporting to David Sonksen, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.

Hohener, who has been with Microsemi since January 2006, is an experienced financial executive whose previous responsibilities include being chief financial officer at several publicly-held companies including Smartflex Systems, Inc. where he was a co-founder. In addition to his CFO duties Hohener led the growth and diversification strategy of Smartflex which ultimately led to the successful sale of the company. He received his MBA from Pepperdine University and is a graduate of UC Berkeley.
