TULSA, Okla., Jan. 9, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- HealthSport, Inc. (OTCBB:HSPO), a company focused on the development, manufacturing and marketing of nutritional supplements in a one-of-a-kind edible film strip delivery system, today announced the hiring of Daniel J. Kelly as its President.

Mr. Kelly began his business career overseeing Kelly Enterprise, Inc., a Sports Marketing and Event Management company. Additionally, he managed Jim Kelly, his brother and Pro Football Hall of Fame Quarterback, and negotiated, what was at the time, the most lucrative player contract in NFL history.

"After months of R&D and the trial completion of our ENLYTEN electrolyte strips, we are ready to begin the sales and marketing process. With over 20 years of experience in marketing, promotions, and celebrity endorsements with major companies, Dan Kelly is a perfect candidate to lead us into our next phase of business development. The Company's ENLYTEN, a thin film electrolyte strip, has recently undergone and completed pre-launch trials. The trials, conducted in conjunction with physicians and scientists at Duke University Sports Medicine & The Michael J. Krzyzewski Human Performance Laboratory (K Lab), involved athletes from various disciplines at the intercollegiate level. Preliminary findings of these studies suggest that the ENLYTEN electrolyte strip delivers meaningful amounts of electrolytes to the human body in a safe, fast and effective manner.
