ELISA PRESS RELEASE 10 JANUARY 2007 AT 1.30 pm ELISA TO OUTSOURCE ORDER MANAGEMENT AND INVOICING OPERATIONS TO BARONA On 9 January 2007, Elisa and Barona Solutions Oy signed a letter of intent concerning the outsourcing of Elisa's operations related to order management and invoicing of corporate customers to Barona as of 1 February 2007. In connection with the transfer, 187 employees will transfer from Elisa to Barona as established employees. In regional terms, 155 employees will transfer from the Helsinki office, 17 from Tampere, 8 from Jyväskylä, 6 from Joensuu and 1 employee from Riihimäki. For the present, the workplaces of these employees will be located at Elisa's facilities. The current outsourcing agreement is part of Elisa's streamlining programme for 2005-2007. "Elisa will focus on the management and development of customer relationships with its own personnel. We will purchase the supporting order management and invoicing services from a service provider which is specialised in flexible operations and which has the best possibilities to develop the operations further," says Elisa's Service Manager Esa Aspholm. Barona Solutions Oy is a company within the Barona Group, and it provides its customers with personnel-related service solutions. "By managing the quality implementation of the service we are able to free customer's time for operational planning and system development," says Barona's General Manager Markus Oksa.
