VAAHTO GROUP PLC OYJ STOCK EXCHANGE BULLETIN 10.1.2007 at 11.00 AHLSTROM HAS ORDERED PRODUCTION EQUIPMENT FOR AHLSTROM'S TVER MILL FROM VAAHTO PULP & PAPER MACHINERY Ahlstrom, a global leader in high performance fiber-based materials, has placed an order with Vaahto Pulp & Paper Machinery for some of the key production equipment of a new glass nonwoven production line. The equipment will be manufactured in Vaahto's workshops in Hollola, Tampere and Kokkola, and will be delivered to the Tver region in Russia during the summer of 2007. The start-up is scheduled for the last quarter of 2007. Last year Vaahto Pulp & Paper Machinery won an order to deliver production equipment to Ahlstrom's La Gere mill in France. The total value of these two Ahlstrom orders amounts to more than 6 million euros.
