Environmental Minister to Discuss Success of Sweden's Greenhouse-Gas Emissions Program At Gas Company Seminar

 WHAT:   As California takes aggressive steps to lead the nation in
         reducing greenhouse-gas emissions, The Gas Company will host
         Sweden's Minister for the Environment and other ministry
         officials at a daylong seminar, "Solutions for Sustainable
         Cities and Energy Efficiency."

         Sweden has decreased greenhouse-gas emissions by 7 percent
         within 15 years, while growing its economy by nearly 40
         percent during the same period.   Minister Andreas Carlgren will
         share his country's policies and best practices that can
         provide a blueprint for California.
