Anglo Canadian Uranium Corp. Announces: Gunslinger Historic Drill Data Obtained

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Jan. 11, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Anglo Canadian Uranium Corp. (TSX-V:URA) (the "Company") is pleased to announce it has received historical drill data for its 100% owned property known as the Gunslinger claims, located on Outlaw Mesa in Mesa County, Colorado. The claim area lies beneath Potato Mountain, and consists of 820 acres of uranium / vanadium claims in the Colorado Plateau District. These historical drill data are made up of 63 drill holes of which 36 holes were mineralized. Holes were spaced between 50 feet and 100 feet apart. This mineralization ranges from 1 to 8 feet thick, with grades ranging from 0.1% to 0.64% U3O8. The overburden varies from 250 feet to 315 feet thick. This mineralized section is 250 feet wide and continues for a length of 1200 feet with additional areas of interest. Uranium mineralization occurs in 3 additional drill holes located from 500 feet to 1500 feet from the previously discussed 63 drill holes. This area of interest which was drilled by Atlas Corp. in 1979 and 1980, also shows the mineralized trend continuing into Department of Energy (DOE) leases. This claim block is surrounded on three sides by DOE lease land. The Company will use these historical data as a guide to help determine a work program for this project.

Anglo Canadian continues to identify and develop work programs for its portfolio of uranium and vanadium projects located in the Four Corners Region of the United States. The Company now has 11 uranium projects located in the Four Corners Region.

With regard to the historical information referred to in this news release and details regarding the location of these historical resources, the Company considers them to be relevant but not to NI 43-101 standards.
