In addition, one of the organization's founders and a recognized leadership voice in the decorating industry, JoAnne Lenart-Weary, will be presenting a seminar during the AmericasMart, Atlanta on how retailers can increase their revenue by working together with professional decorators. The seminar will take place at 10am on Monday, January 15th in building three in the third floor conference room.
The SDP was formed to provide a place of learning and certification for those people for whom decorating is second nature and are ready to make it their professional lives. As of the end of 2006, The SDP membership includes nearly 300 decorating professionals with expertise in specific decorating areas including interior redesign, real estate staging and color.
