ADVANCE INFORMATION ON NET SALES AND PROFIT FOR 2006

SOLTEQ PLC STOCK EXCHANGE BULLETIN 16.1.2007

ADVANCE INFORMATION ON NET SALES AND PROFIT FOR 2006

The Solteq Group’s net sales and operating profit will be
weaker than previously forecasted. According to the
preliminary estimate the net sales totals about EUR 23,2
million and operating profit EUR -0,5 million for the
financial period of 1.1.-31.12.2006. The profit after
taxes is estimated to be slightly positive.

The estimated net sales growth and operating profit will
be lower than the company has previously forecasted,
mainly due to slower than expected sales in the fourth
quarter of 2006. The reason for this is the lengthening
of a few individual sales projects and the slower
progression of agreed projects. Some of the sales
projects have already been closed during January 2007.

The operating profit for the year is additionally
weakened by the non-recurring items, total impact of EUR
0,8 million. The non-recurring items include the
compensation for damages ruled by the Tampere district
court and the employment termination costs as a
consequence of the co-operating negotiations.

The profit after taxes is positively affected by the
deferred tax item due to intercompany structuration, as
already informed in Interim Report of third quarter.

Solteq Plc will publish the Financial Statements bulletin
for 2006 on January 30, 2007 at 9.00 a.m.
