As previously announced, Alfesca intends to grow and develop the core pillars of its business by actively seeking acquisition and investment opportunities that strengthen its business in a dynamic manner. The Company can confirm that it is in advanced negotiations about the possible acquisition of Adrimex, the leading prawns processor in France (FY2006: net sales EUR 56.4 million), in line with its stated strategy. The discussions are on going but not finalised. The Company will make further announcements when appropriate.
