The startup of actual operations is progressing as planned and FSFR, the Russian authority that supervises financial markets, has now accepted the rules for FIMs first local mutual funds. The three mutual funds FIM Russian Equities, FIM Russian Portfolio and FIM Russian Bonds will be effectively launched during the first quarter of 2007. The funds will be mainly distributed in Russia but they are also available for international investors. The first agent agreements have already been signed.
