Metsäliitto has received approval from authorities to sell its Norwegian subsidiary Moelven

METSÄLIITTO HAS RECEIVED APPROVAL FROM AUTHORITIES TO SELL ITS NORWEGIAN
SUBSIDIARY MOELVEN

Metsäliitto Group has received approval from authorities to sell its Norwegian
subsidiary Moelven. Metsäliitto has sold all of its shareholding (65.15%) in its
Norwegian subsidiary Moelven Industrier ASA to a consortium comprising the
Norwegian energy company Eidsiva Energi AS and five Norwegian Forest Owners'
Associations.

The total consideration is NOK 1.14 billion (approximately EUR 140 million).
Metsäliitto books a gain of EUR 13 million.
