Akciju komercbanka Baltikums 30.01.2007 The results of the offering of JSC Akciju komercbanka "Baltikums" notes With this, we announce that all the offered notes have been placed with investors and that the offering is completed. The Bank is going to carry out a 100 000 Notes Issue with the total size of EUR 10’000’000. The notes mature on 2 February 2010. According to the terms of the issue, the coupon rate is set for each three-month interest calculation period. The coupon rate is based on a 3-month EURIBOR rate, which is fixed on the coupon rate determination date, plus 3.0% p.a. The Bank will make coupon payments four times a year, namely on 2 May, 2 August, 2 November and 2 February. The first coupon payment date is 2 May 2007, with the last being 2 February 2010. The first coupon rate on AS “Akciju komercbanka “Baltikums”” notes will be announced on 31 January. The notes were offered only to qualified investors or investors who subscribed to the Notes in the amount of no less than EUR 50 000. The investors were from the Baltic states. AS “Parex banka” was the arranger of the issue. Additional information with respect to the listing of the notes on the debt securities list of the Riga Stock Exchange will be announced later. According to the terms of the issue, over the period of three months since the notes issue, the Bank will register a prospectus with the FCMC and submit all relevant documents for the notes to be included in the Baltic Bond List of the RSE. AS “Akciju komercbanka “Baltikums”” plans to use the proceeds raised through the notes issue for further development of shipping finance and trade finance. This was the third notes issue of JSC “Akciju komercbanka “Baltikums””. In December 2004, JSC “Akciju komercbanka “Baltikums”” completed the first unsecured notes issue in the amount of EUR 3 855 500 with the 2 year maturity. The Notes of the first issue were repaid on December 29, 2006. The second issue of the Bank notes was completed in the spring of 2006.
