Component Changes Made to Dow Jones Turkey Titans 20 and Dow Jones Turkey Equal Weighted 15 Indexes


NEW YORK, Jan. 31, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Dow Jones Indexes, a leading global index provider, today announced component changes to the Dow Jones Turkey Titans 20 Index and the Dow Jones Turkey Equal Weighted 15 Index.

Finansbank A.S. (Turkey, IST:FINBN) will be deleted from the Dow Jones Turkey Titans 20 Index and the Dow Jones Turkey Equal Weighted 15 Index due to its acquisition by National Bank of Greece S.A. (Greece, ATH:ETE).

Turkiye Vakiflar Bankasi (Turkey, IST:VAKBN) will replace Finansbank A.S. in the Dow Jones Turkey Titans 20 Index. Migros Turk T.A.S. (Turkey, IST:MIGRS) will replace Finansbank A.S. in the Dow Jones Turkey Equal Weighted 15 Index.

The changes in the Dow Jones Turkey Titans 20 and Dow Jones Turkey Equal Weighted 15 indexes will be effective as of the open of trading on Friday, February 2, 2007.

The Dow Jones Turkey Titans 20 index is free-float market capitalization weighted with individual component weights capped at 10% that tracks the 20 largest and most liquid securities in the Turkish market.

The Dow Jones Turkey Equal Weighted 15 Index is a price weighted index that tracks the largest 15 stocks traded on the Istanbul Stock Exchange, based on float market capitalization.
