OUTOKUMPU OYJ STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE 1.2.2007 AT 2.30 PM BO ANNVIK APPOINTED TO OUTOKUMPUS GROUP EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE Mr. Bo Annvik has been appointed Executive Vice President Specialty Businesses and member of the Group Executive Committee of Outokumpu. He will assume his duties in the second quarter 2007, and the final date will be confirmed later. Mr. Annvik, a Swedish national, is born in 1965 and holds a B.Sc. in business administration and economics from the Gothenburg School of Economics. He is currently employed by SKF as President SKF Sealing Solutions. Mr. Annviks portfolio in the Group Executive Committee will be to supervise the business units of Avesta Works, Hot Rolled Plate, Thin Strip and OSTP. Currently Avesta Works reports to EVP Production Operations Pekka Erkkilä and the other three to CEO Juha Rantanen.
