PROPOSALS OF THE NOMINATION COMMITTEE WITH RESPECT TO THE COMPOSITION OF KEMIRA'S
BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND BOARD REMUNERATIONS

The shareholders' Nomination Committee of Kemira Oyj has decided to propose to
the Annual General Meeting to be held on April 16, 2007, that Kemira's current
Board of Directors be re-elected for the next term of office, and that the
Board's Chairman and Vice-chairman be re-elected. The proposed composition of the
board is thus as follows:

Anssi Soila (Chairman of the board), Eija Malmivirta (Vice chairman of the
board), Elizabeth Armstrong, Heikki Bergholm, Ove Mattsson, Kaija Pehu-Lehtonen
and Markku Tapio.

The nomination committee has further decided to propose to the Annual General
Meeting that the remuneration of members of the Board remain at its current level
as follows:

Monthly fees:        EUR
Chairman             4,500.00
Vice Chairman        3,250.00
Other members        2,550.00

Fees per meeting:                        EUR
Members living in Finland                600.00
Members living elsewhere in Europe       1,200.00
Members living outside Europe            2,400.00
