WHAT: On Wednesday, February 7, 2007 members of the Orange County Chapter of the International Coach Federation (ICF) will offer a day of free workshops and presentations during International Coaching Week. Members of the coaching profession work with clients in areas such as career transition, life/personal growth, executive development, small business and organizational effectiveness. As a result of coaching, clients set better goals, take more action, make better decisions, and more fully use their natural strengths. WHO: ICF is the globally recognized professional association of personal and business coaches that seeks to preserve the integrity of professional coaching around the world. The association has more than 11,000 members in 80 countries and was responsible for establishing the first independent credentialing program for coaches, which is now recognized worldwide. WHY: During International Coaching Week, members of the Orange County Chapter of ICF will celebrate by educating the public on the benefits of the coaching process and illustrating the value coaching can bring to peoples' lives. Throughout the week, coaches and their clients will acknowledge the results made through the coaching process and share their progress with others interested in learning more about coaching. WHEN: On February 7, 2007 personal and business coaches from the Orange County Chapter of ICF will offer 12 different 45-minute workshops on a variety of coaching topics at no cost to the attendees. The event is jointly sponsored by ICF -- Orange County Chapter and Chapman University, Irvine Campus and Extended Education Program.
