CHANGES IN HK RUOKATALO GROUP MANAGEMENT

The following changes will be implemented in company management due to
the further internationalisation of HK Ruokatalo Group with the
acquisition of Scan AB.

Esa Mäki, MSc (Agriculture and Forestry), currently executive vice
president of the company’s meat business, is appointed managing
director of HK Ruokatalo Oy, which carries out the company's Finnish
operations, effective 1 March 2007. Previously executive vice
president of the Poulty Group, Mr Mäki assumed his current post in
autumn 2005. He has been with HK Ruokatalo since November 2003.

Effective 5 February 2007, Risto Siivonen, MSc (Econ) is appointed
senior vice president of corporate development in charge of the
strategic development of the business operations and corporate
structure of HK Ruokatalo Group. Mr Siivonen has previously worked in
private equity investment with Permira in London and Stockholm and in
management consulting with The Boston Consulting Group in Stockholm
and Helsinki.

The Management Team of HK Ruokatalo Group Oyj, which will change its
name to HKScan later this spring, will as of 1 March 2007 consist of
CEO Kai Seikku as Chairman along with CFO Matti Perkonoja; CMO Antti
Lauslahti; managing director of HK Ruokatalo Oy and executive vice
president, Finland Esa Mäki; Managing Director of Scan AB and
executive vice president, Sweden Magnus Lagergren; and Olli Antniemi,
executive vice president, the Baltics. Senior vice president of
corporate development Risto Siivonen serves as Secretary to the
Management Team.

Antti Lauslahti will also continue as executive vice president of
commercial and marketing operations of HK Ruokatalo Oy in Finland.
