Teleca: Teleca Transfers Umeå Office as Part of Restructu...

Press release February 5, 2007 Teleca Transfers Umeå Office as Part of Restructuring of Product Operations Teleca has announced the restructuring of its product operations. As part of this process, Teleca has signed a contract with a recently started company which will take over 36 employees from the Teleca Mobile Umeå office. In October 2006, Teleca decided to close the Teleca Mobile offices in Ronneby, Stockholm and Umeå, decreasing the staff by 150. As the contract regarding the Umeå office takes effect, Teleca Mobile no longer has any operations or staff on these three locations. Instead, Teleca will concentrate the product development to the Malmö region and increase the scope of product development and testing in its Russian office. The contract does not comprise products or immaterial rights. The transfers that have been made and the costs associated with that are in line with the restructuring programme that was announced in October, 2006. As previously stated, the programme will be finalised during the second quarter of 2007.
