(Pink Sheets:FLKI) subsidiary Clean Plus(r) Product Group announced the signing of another Icelandic Super Distributor for their Clean Plus(r) "Premium" auto care (consumer), Clean Plus(r) Professional (industrial), and Clean Plus(r) Professional Auto Care (professional).
This recent signing will enable the Clean Plus Brand(r) to be further entrenched in Iceland's purchasing domain. Though small, the island of approximately 300,000 inhabitants is the fifth most productive country in the world based on its per capita GDP. With roughly 600 cars per 1,000 inhabitants, Iceland is a fertile market for auto care products. Additionally, the harsh climate conditions in Iceland require a continual level of automobile maintenance. Therefore, the mass consumption of auto care products per capita is quite high.
The new Super Distributor is granted exclusivity by Falken Industries for a market segment in which their Clean Plus(r) products are not currently present. Falken Industries' agreements with various Super Distributors grants each distributor exclusivity for that specific segment, in categories such as automobile aftermarket, hardware and tools, sanitary and janitorial, pubs, hotels and restaurants, alimentation and agriculture, foods and households, municipalities and government, and such. Such agreements not only protect the vested interest of each individual Super Distributor, but allow Clean Plus(r) products to be distributed in a wide range of marketplaces. With this additional Super Distributor, there will be an even stronger brand presence of Clean Plus(r) in Iceland.
