Delta Continues Expansion of Atlanta Hub With Five New Nonstop Destinations in Time for Summer

Expanded summer schedule offers Atlanta customers nonstop flights to 241 destinations

ATLANTA, Feb. 13, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Delta Air Lines invites customers to expand their summer horizons with nonstop service to five new destinations and returning seasonal service to four cities from the airline's flagship hub in Atlanta.

Beginning in May, Delta will expand its summer schedule to include new nonstop service between Atlanta and:

     * Fort Smith, Ark. (effective June 7)
     * Halifax, Nova Scotia (effective June 7)
     * Kalispell, Mont. (effective June 9)
     * Newburgh, N.Y. (effective May 7)
     * State College, Penn. (effective June 7)

Additionally, Delta will return to four cities with nonstop seasonal service from Atlanta, including: Boise, Idaho; Bozeman, Mont.; Jackson Hole, Wyo.; and Vancouver, Canada.

With these added flights, customers will be able to choose to fly Delta and the Delta Connection carriers to 241 worldwide destinations from the Atlanta hub -- more flights than are offered at any global gateway in the world.

Delta's Atlanta hub is one of the fastest growing international gateways in the United States, with nearly 20 new international markets added in the last year. Atlanta is the home of Delta's largest international hub with flights to 71 international destinations in 44 countries.

In October 2006, Delta announced new nonstop service to four new international destinations from Atlanta that will be available to customers this summer: Prague, Czech Republic+; Vienna, Austria; Dubai, United Arab Emirates+; and Seoul-Incheon, South Korea+.

"As part of the ongoing globalization of Delta, we have continued to expand in Atlanta to offer customers more choice and convenience," said Bob Cortelyou, vice president -- Network Planning. "This summer promises to be our most exciting ever at Delta with dozens of new international and domestic choices for customers flying to, from or through the growing Atlanta hub."
