REPURCHASE OF COMPTEL CORPORATION'S OWN SHARES

The Board of Directors of Comptel Corporation has decided to repurchase Comptel's
own shares. The shares will be purchased through public trading on the Helsinki
Stock Exchange at the market price at the time of trading. The maximum amount of
410.000 shares will be repurchased, and the repurchases will start on 21 February
2007 at the earliest.

The share repurchases are based on the authorization given by the Annual General
Meeting on 13 March 2006. Comptel does not currently hold its own shares.
