Vertical Branding, Inc. Announces Record Shipments of Over $5.7 Million of Products During the Month of January 2007


LOS ANGELES, Feb. 16, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Vertical Branding, Inc. (OTCBB:VBDG) announced today that it had a record month for shipments of its exclusive and proprietary product lines in both its direct to consumer and retail business operations. In January 2007 the Company shipped over $5.7 million of products to its customers. This represents a record month for the Company in terms of shipments, based on preliminary un-audited numbers.

The Company's direct to consumer shipments, generated from its television, online and print advertising and marketing campaigns, totaled over $3,500,000, in January, net of returns. This represents over 97,000 individual orders for the Company's products including Hercules Hook(tm), Zorbeez(tm), True Ceramic Pro(tm), Starmaker(tm) Cosmetics, and DermaFresh's Youth Factor(tm).

Retail shipments in January also were strong contributors to Vertical Branding's record month, totaling over $2,200,000 based on preliminary un-audited figures. These shipments represent a number of the Company's ongoing Retail SKU's shipped to twenty five different regular retail accounts in January 2007. Vertical Branding, Inc. retail SKU's include Hercules Hook(tm) DermaFresh (tm) skin care products, Extreme Beam(tm) Special Forces LED Flashlight, StarMaker(tm) cosmetics, and PetVac(tm).
