ELMSDALE, Nova Scotia, Feb. 20, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- BioSource Solutions Inc. (Other OTC:BISL) announced that the Board of Directors has approved a forward split of the Company's common stock. Shareholders of record as of March 1, 2007 will receive 3 (three) common shares for every 1 (one) common share held. There will be no change in the par value of the shares. The forward stock split will be effective on March 9, 2007.
Shareholders will receive the additional shares by mail on payment date of March 9, 2007. Shareholders will not be required to surrender existing certificates.
The Board deemed it essential to take this step as the Company now embarks on aggressive efforts to execute its strategic growth initiatives to create international awareness of its new and existing product line.
