Stallion Expands Presence in Permian Basin and Launches International Division in The Netherlands


HOUSTON, Feb. 20, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Stallion Oilfield Services Ltd. is pleased to announce that it has completed the acquisition of La Mission Rentals located in Odessa, Texas. La Mission adds over 90 workforce accommodation units and related equipment to Stallion's existing fleet and strengthens its position in the Permian Basin.

Stallion also announced the formation of Stallion Offshore International B.V. The new business unit will be headquartered in Beverijk, Holland and is strategically located to take advantage of the resurgence in the North Sea and other offshore markets. "Our offshore accommodations division, Abbeville Offshore Quarters, is a leading provider of offshore workforce accommodations and other modular buildings to the global oil and gas industry," remarked Craig Johnson. "Opening an office in the eastern hemisphere will enable us to better serve those customers pursuing projects worldwide. These projects require significant temporary manpower, sometimes in excess of 400 technicians, during production hookup, and we intend to partner with clients to satisfy this growing demand for temporary offshore accommodations."

In a related note, Stallion also announced the acquisition of Suttee Enterprises in Maysville, Oklahoma. Suttee is a supplier of surface rental equipment used in oilfield operations and will be integrated into Stallion's existing business in Elk City, OK. Founder Leland "Butch" Suttee has been retained by Stallion and will remain active in the business.
