SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Feb. 23, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- The TASER Foundation for Fallen Officers and the Fountain Hills Chamber of Commerce announced today that national country music recording artist and honorary Chairman of the TASER Foundation Mark Wills will perform a benefit concert on Saturday, March 10, 2007 at 3 p.m. at the Fountain Hills Park in Fountain Hills, AZ. The concert is part of the Takin' the Ride Motorcycle Rally which includes a memorial motorcycle run, vendors, food, live music, auctions and more.
In conjunction with the Takin' the Ride rally, the TASER Foundation will sponsor Makin' the Drive Golf Tournament at the Longbow Golf Club in Mesa, AZ on March 11th at 8 a.m. The weekend of charity events will raise awareness and funds to continue the Foundation's support of the families of fallen officers in the United States and Canada.
Mark Wills first hit the country charts in 1996 with "Jacob's Ladder," and soon followed with No. 1 hits like "I Do (Cherish You)," "Don't Laugh at Me," and the smash hit "19 Something." Wills' current single, "Take It All Out On Me" from his forthcoming 2007 album, is currently climbing the country singles chart.
