On February 24, 2007 rating agency Moody's Investors Service has announced the upgrade of Parex banka's rating to investment grade. Parex banka is the only private financial institution in the Baltic States to receive a long term deposit rating Baa3/investment grade. The two Parex banka's Eurobond issues, (EUR 100 mln. with a 3-year maturity and EUR 200 mln. with a 5-year maturity) have also been upgraded to Baa3.
