The Ministery of Ssocial Affairs has published a change to the Regulation nr. 540/2006 concerning the loan ratio and the maximum loan amount for the loans of the Housing Financing Fund. This new reglulation increases the loan ratio from 80% to 90% and the maximum loan amount from ISK 17 million to ISK 18 million. The loan ratio and the loan amount are by this increased to the same level as they were before the Government decreased them as a part of it´s economic measures in late June 2006. This changed regulation takes affect March 1st 2007.
