Total Medicaid spending in New Mexico for fiscal 2005 was $2,371B, servicing approximately 26% of the citizen population, as reported by The Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation, www.kff.org. Through the program, MEDirect Latino will provide services to the state's duly eligible population, including expanded services to children, adults, and disabled beneficiaries, under State Medicaid guidelines.
