Wireless Ronin Technologies Digital Signage Selected for NewSight Corporation's Advertising Networks

MINNEAPOLIS, March 1, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Wireless Ronin(r) Technologies (Nasdaq:RNIN), a Minneapolis-based digital signage provider, has been selected by NewSight Corporation to implement RoninCast digital signage as the management software for its new networks.

"The NewSight Corporation network projects represent a great opportunity for Wireless Ronin to support the networks with the full functionality of our RoninCast digital technology," said Jeffrey Mack, president and CEO of Wireless Ronin Technologies. "Our partner Richardson Electronics will be an integral part of this digital signage network."

NewSight, headquartered in New York City, supports two global operations: managing advertising-based digital signage networks and development of 3-D display technology. Wireless Ronin Technologies has been awarded the "NewSight On Health" physician's network and it's Pyramid Mall network.

NewSight is developing a network of approximately 2,000 physician's offices throughout the U.S., consisting of a waiting room display network that will educate patients on medical procedures and office information. The RoninCast digital signage system will be utilized in the digital network rollout to occur later this spring. The entire network is expected to be installed by the end of 2007.

NewSight is also installing digital networks in 13 large upscale malls, including some of the leading U.S. shopping mall properties. Entertainment and advertising programming will run in the food court and along the perimeter walkways of the mall. The RoninCast digital signage system will be installed in the rollout during the first half of 2007.

NewSight owns, manages and supports digital signage networks around the globe. These networks are located in Europe, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, North America and Latin America.

Wireless Ronin will provide hardware procurement, project management and installation for the "NewSight On Health" and the Mall digital signage networks.
