On turnover of Apranga Group in February 2007


The retail chain turnover of the leader of apparel retail market in Lithuania
and the Baltic States Apranga Group totalled LTL 23.3 million (EUR 6.8 million)
in February 2007, and has increased by 40.3% in comparison to February 2006.
Despite of cold weather Apranga Group results met the plan. 

The retail chain turnover of Apranga Group in first 2 months of 2007 was LTL
56.9 million (EUR 16.5 million), and has increased by 48.7% comparing to
January - February 2006. 

In January - February 2007 turnover of Apranga Group grew by 56.0% in Vilnius,
36.0% in Kaunas, 50.6% in Klaipeda, 47.1% in Siauliai, 22.7% in Panevezys,
32,8% in Riga, and 60,9% in Tallinn. 

The fastest growth of among all 5 chains developed by Apranga Group was in
youth shops - 72.7%. 

Apranga Group has already opened 2 new shops. The 6th Zara and the 3rd Bershka
were opened in Riga's shopping center Spice. Apranga Group will open 12 new
shops, will close 2, and will refurbish 2 shops within next 45 days. 

Apranga Group now operates 67 shops with the total area of 41 thousand sq. m. 

Apranga Group is owned by the concern MG Baltic.
